 Who in their right mind wants to get their children something like a hamster when you can adopt a companion rat into the family? Alix Kennedy from Wondertime Magazine states that, "The only bad thing about this pet is its PR." Please, take a moment to read the rest of his wonderful article titled, "First Pet: Rats!" Many families opt to adopt rats as first time pets for their children but it is important to remember that the parent is ultimately responsible for the health and wellbeing of that animal. We strongly believe that rats can make excellent companions for children of all ages with proper adult supervision.
